Tour Marketing Intern | mtheory
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at mtheory, located in Nashville, TN, running for a fixed term of 15 weeks from May 26, 2026, to August 27, 2026. mtheory empowers artist managers with comprehensive services, support, and capabilities across diverse disciplines, including marketing, touring, live event production, financing, digital services, and label services. This role provides essential day-to-day marketing support to mtheory’s marketing associates and client managers, directly contributing to the strategic promotion and operational success of artist tours and careers within mtheory’s esteemed client roster. The intern will play a key role in ensuring artists’ tours are effectively promoted and managed.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide direct day-to-day marketing support to mtheory’s marketing associates and client managers.
• Deploy: Create and deploy marketing communications for upcoming shows, specifically BandsInTown blasts and geo-targeted emails.
• Manage: Manage and update tour ticket trackers, and add new show dates to platforms such as BandsInTown, Songkick, and Seated.
• Develop: Develop and manage artist promotional materials, including one-sheets and press kits.
• Research: Conduct essential artist research, encompassing social network, music platform, touring history, and online property analysis.

• Background: Early career professional with a profound passion for music, artist management, and the touring industry, eager to learn and contribute.
• Experience: Proficiency in utilizing digital platforms and analytics tools; demonstrated ability to work independently as a motivated self-starter.
• Skills: Familiarity with key analytics platforms including Spotify for Artists, Pandora AMP, BandsInTown, Songkick, and Seated; strong organizational and communication abilities; a positive attitude and adaptability.
