Business Strategy Intern | Vertiv

The Tone:
This is an internship at Vertiv, located in Westerville, OH. Vertiv designs, manufactures, and services mission-critical infrastructure technologies for vital applications in data centers, communication networks, and commercial and industrial environments. This role contributes to strategic planning and business development within the Product Development & Engineering Strategy team, focusing on market analysis and competitive positioning to support product development and engineering.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making.
• Strategic Projects: Participate in strategic projects and initiatives aimed at driving growth and enhancing competitive advantage.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic recommendations and solutions.
• Insight Generation: Provide feedback and insights to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of strategic initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of strategic planning processes, tools, and methodologies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be pursuing a Masters degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability and willingness to learn; collaboration and teamwork.
