Junior Sales Executive | Grifols

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Grifols, located remotely within the USA. Grifols is a global healthcare company that develops, produces, and markets innovative medicines, solutions, and services, focusing on plasma-derived medicines and transfusion medicine. This role is crucial for supporting commercial growth by driving lead generation, developing customer relationships, and streamlining sales operations, ultimately contributing to improving global health and well-being.

• Team: Collaborates closely with Senior Sales Executives, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales Liaison.
• Mission: This role supports commercial activities by generating leads, developing customer relationships, and assisting in daily sales operations.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients through various outreach methods and market research to qualify new opportunities and expand the customer base, including achieving assigned financial targets for new and existing accounts.
• Customer Engagement: Support the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships, acting as a primary contact for routine inquiries and assisting senior team members during customer visits, presentations, and negotiations.
• Sales Operations: Prepare drafts of proposals, presentations, and quotations, manage sales contracts, and maintain accurate records of all activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
• Cross-functional Support: Collaborate closely with Product Management and Marketing to share customer feedback, execute lead-generation campaigns, and coordinate internal efforts for product qualification and technical requests.
• Professional Development: Continuously enhance technical and market knowledge, participate in internal training, and shadow senior team members to build essential commercial skills and contribute to overall team initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or customer-facing roles, including internships.
• Skills: Highly proactive, persistent, and comfortable with prospecting for new opportunities; strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities; basic presentation skills to engage with customers at various levels; analytical mindset for gathering and organizing information; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot); willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Bonus: Experience in B2B sales or life sciences, a scientific or technical background, or prior exposure to diagnostics, med-tech, biotech, or pharma.
