Summer Internship | CBRE

The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at CBRE, located in New York, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Boston, and Dallas, offering a hybrid working schedule. CBRE IA&R is a dedicated real estate fund and property accounting business, supporting global and Pan-European coordination for institutional investors. This internship provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience by working on innovative projects, develop knowledge in real estate accounting and fund administration functions, and accelerate your professional growth within the industry.

• Team: CBRE IA&R, the fund administration business line within CBRE
• Mission: To provide valuable work experience and insights into integrated fund and real estate accounting, administration, and data management services.
• Tech Stack: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Network: Connect with leaders within CBRE IA&R and the broader CBRE organization to build professional contacts.
• Learn: Participate in executive webinars and gain insights directly from managers and team members on how results are achieved.
• Collaborate: Be included in team meetings to understand daily operations and contribute to team discussions.
• Engage: Participate in social events to network with fellow interns and build peer relationships.
• Present: Complete a group final project showcasing your work and abilities, presenting findings to CBRE IA&R leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An enthusiastic individual with a passion for accounting, finance, investment accounting, treasury, operational controls assurance, onboarding & client management, product, and/or investor services.
• Experience: Must have the right to work in the US by the commencement of employment and be currently authorized to work without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, proactive approach, positive attitude, attention to detail, accuracy, and good time management.
