What You’ll Actually Do
• Circuit Design Support: Provide direct assistance to experienced engineers in the creation of complex circuit boards, development of schematics, and design of application solutions for cutting-edge semiconductor integrated circuits and devices.
• PCB Development: Engage in the full lifecycle of printed circuit board (PCB) development, including designing application schematics and conducting thorough testing to ensure functional integrity.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Systematically troubleshoot and test newly developed application boards to verify their proper functionality, identify issues, and ensure performance meets specifications.
• Test Reports: Compile and articulate detailed test reports based on experimental procedures, findings, and performance data, communicating results clearly to the engineering team.
• Data Collection Automation: Support the implementation and operation of test automation programs, diligently collecting, extracting, and analyzing critical data related to circuit performance and behavior.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in circuit theory, basic electronic designs, power electronics, device physics, and control systems. US citizenship or green card holder is a strict requirement for this position due to access to export-controlled documentation.
• Experience: Possess hands-on experience utilizing essential lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters. Practical knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) development, from design concepts to testing, is also crucial.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like LabView, Python, or JavaScript for test automation and data acquisition. Familiarity with layout tools such as Altium for PCB design, and a working understanding of simulation software including MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for analysis and modeling.
• Bonus: Exhibit strong organizational abilities, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and convey technical information.
