Finance Intern – Summer 2025

Howmet Engine Systems is seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our 2025 Summer Intern Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience within a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.

About the Internship Program

The program is a structured 10-14 week experience designed to provide comprehensive training and direct business value. Interns will engage in a variety of activities to foster professional growth and understanding of our operations:

• Structured Hands-on Training: Dive into practical tasks and learn directly from industry professionals.
• Plant Tours: Gain insight into manufacturing processes and operational excellence.
• Seminars: Participate in educational sessions covering various business and industry topics.
• Networking Events: Connect with Howmet professionals, leaders, and fellow interns.
• Speaker Training: Develop public speaking and presentation skills.
• Project Work: Undertake a selected project that adds direct value to the business, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
• Project Presentation: At the conclusion of the program, interns will present their project findings and results to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a self-directed or team environment.
• Relevant internship, work, or research experience is a plus.

About The Team

The Howmet Engines business produces world-class aerospace engine components, including investment castings, fasteners, rings, and forgings. Our vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts enable the next generation of quieter, cleaner, and more fuel-efficient aerospace engines. We are able to supply more than 90% of structural and rotating aerospace engine components.
