Territory Sales Internship Summer 2026 | Philip Morris International (PMI)
The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at Philip Morris International (PMI), located in Atlanta, GA. This role supports the high-performing sales team in achieving critical distribution and promotion goals, directly contributing to the company’s revolutionary change and market presence. Interns are integral to delivering real impact and value while gaining new skills in an evolving industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to sales objectives by supporting teams in meeting or exceeding distribution and promotion goals.
• Proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with retail, wholesale, and account key decision-makers.
• Effectively sell company concepts, programs, and products to assigned customers.
• Merchandise PMI US’s products in stores to achieve maximum consumer reach and product freshness.
• Manage administrative tasks, including expenses and point of sale materials, with consistency and accuracy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program, preferably pursuing a Business related major, during the 2025-2026 school year and returning to the program after completion of the internship.
• Experience: Ability to sell and service products, including gaining new item distribution, executing promotions, merchandising, and product rotation in retail stores. Requires reliable transportation.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical skills, planning skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and business math.
