1st Shift Equipment Operator | AHT
The Tone:

This role is vital for strengthening and safeguarding the world by ensuring the quality and precision of essential parts, including those for the Mars Rover.

• Mission: Ensure accurate setup, processing, and inspection of parts for various heat treatment processes, while providing technical support and maintaining shop readiness.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Operations: Provide setup, parts processing, and inspection for various heat treatment processes.
• Technical Assistance: Offer backup support to technicians, utilizing process instructions, work orders, and prints.
• Part Handling: Degrease, clean, and unload customer parts.
• Shop Maintenance: Perform routine shop duties to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; foundational knowledge typically gained from a two-year industrial tech degree.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of equipment operation experience.
• Skills: Ability to operate a fork truck; ability to operate an overhead crane.
• Bonus: Preferred equipment operating/industrial experience; willingness to learn specialized heat treatment processes such as ion nitriding, gas nitriding, carbonitriding, and induction hardening. AHT is also willing to hire and train the right candidate into this role from a Heat Treat Support position if experience requirements are not fully met.
