Back-Office Information Technology Administrator
Lockheed Martin is actively seeking a back-office Information Technology Administrator to join our team in Cape Canaveral, Florida, US. As a Back-Office IT Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT support functions for Lockheed Martin’s Space business area. This position encompasses a variety of core organizational capabilities, including customer and vendor relationship management, financial and inventory oversight, and critical IT administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact, ensuring effective communication and support for internal customers.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and suppliers regarding purchase orders, shipments, and service agreements.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects related to IT operations, including tracking and reporting.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory.
- Computer Incident Oversight: Assist with monitoring and managing computer incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Service Request Fulfillment: Process and fulfill IT service requests efficiently.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Facilitate the procurement and delivery of IT equipment and supplies.
- Information Technology Audit Coordination: Support and coordinate activities related to IT audits.
- Shipping & Receiving Tracking: Monitor and track the shipment and receipt of IT hardware and components.
- Physical Equipment Handling: Move, stack, and install physical IT equipment, requiring the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this vital role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- US Citizenship: Required for access to the work facility; dual citizenship is not permitted.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance throughout the lifespan of the position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- CRM Software Experience: Demonstrated experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Financial Management Software Experience: Practical experience utilizing financial management software.
- Vendor Coordination Experience: Proven experience coordinating with vendors, carriers, and suppliers regarding purchase orders and shipments.
- Physical Capability: Ability to move, stack, and install physical equipment by lifting up to 40 lbs.
Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates possessing the following skills and experiences will be highly competitive:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited University.
- Active Security Clearance: Active DOD Secret clearance (investigation completed within the last 5 years).
- DoD 8570.01-M Certification: Current IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP).
- Classified Environment Support: Experience supporting United States Government classified environments.
- Zoho CRM Proficiency: Specific experience with Zoho CRM software.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Operating Systems & Peripherals: Experience using the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system and a variety of computer peripherals.
- Training & Documentation:
- Experience designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and job-aid materials.
- Experience developing and maintaining searchable knowledge-based articles.
- Process Improvement: Experience leading process improvement initiatives to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
Work Environment & Other Important Information
- Location: This is an on-site full-time position located in Cape Canaveral, Florida, US. This is a non-telecommuting role.
- Work Schedule: The role includes some off-shift work with occasional weekend activities to support program needs.
