Summer Internship Program | Moors & Cabot

The Tone:
This is a Summer Internship Program at Moors & Cabot, located in Boston, MA. Moors & Cabot is a financial services company with over 135 years of experience in personalized wealth management, serving individuals, families, and institutions across the United States. They empower full-service Financial Professionals with a comprehensive suite of investment services and products. This internship offers current college students a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience, applying software development and architecture knowledge to support and enhance various data automation, integration, and reporting efforts. Interns will work on hardening custom software, integrating AI models, and developing proprietary intellectual property within a professional and supportive environment.

• Mission: Apply software development and architecture knowledge to support and enhance data automation, integration, and reporting efforts, including hardening custom software, integrating AI, and developing proprietary intellectual property.
• Tech Stack: Javascript (or similar), Google scripting, SQL, Wix, Google Sites, Google Cloud, BigQuery, AI programming

What You’ll Actually Do
• Automate Data Processes: Design scalable application modules to automate data ingestion, comparison, and export processes, enhancing core automation and data management applications.
• Integrate AI Solutions: Develop AI agents and APIs to create custom integrations between in-house products, focusing on integrating AI models into existing systems.
• Build Custom BI & Software: Maintain, enhance, and develop point automation solutions to transition manual processes into automated software procedures, and design reports within the Business Intelligence Platform.
• Support Web Platforms: Produce demo data to support the commercialization efforts of Moors & Cabot’s tech ventures solutions, and support the development and maintenance of the public-facing website and internal Intranet using Wix and Google Sites.
• Document Solutions: Document procedures, best practices, and limitations for the Moors & Cabot Business Intelligence Platform and other proprietary solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in Javascript (or similar), Google scripting, and SQL; strong mathematical, analytical, and programming skills; a strategic, methodology-driven, and consultative mindset; superb time management and follow-through; creative, highly professional, and detail-oriented.
• Bonus: Experience with AI programming, Google Cloud, or BigQuery.
