UX Researcher | LiveRamp
The Tone:

• Pay: $77000–$111500 yearly
• Team: Small, high-impact UX Research team embedded in a larger design organization, collaborating with PMs, designers, and commercial teams.
• Mission: Influence product direction and deliver actionable user insights to enhance experiences across the product lifecycle and achieve critical business objectives.
• Tech Stack: Python, SQL, AI tools (e.g., NotebookLM, Gemini)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct research: Execute user research using both quantitative methods like benchmarking and surveys, and qualitative methods such as usability studies and contextual inquiry.
• Deliver insights: Analyze and synthesize research findings to provide actionable insights for discovery, ideation, and development phases.
• Promote user-centered design: Advocate for user-centered methods and guide partners in conducting their own research to maintain quality and consistency.
• Develop research strategies: Create and implement research strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Track user experience metrics: Partner with product and design teams to define and monitor key product metrics that measure user experience progress against business objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-career professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in UX research, or UX/product design with a strong research focus; an online case-study portfolio showcasing research artifacts, process, and impact is required.
• Skills: Proven ability to influence product direction with actionable customer insights, base-level proficiency in data analytics languages like Python and SQL, and strong communication and collaboration skills to advocate for users.
• Bonus: Experience in enterprise SaaS or AdTech, familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization products, and experience using AI tools within a research practice.
