The Tone:
This is a Summer 2026 College Internship at Sharp Electronics, located in Downers Grove, IL. Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) helps businesses achieve simply smarter work by providing secure printer and copier solutions, professional displays, and productivity software. This role supports the Solutions & Services team by accelerating innovation and advancing toward a proactive, AI-enabled service model, significantly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Collection: Aggregate, clean, and organize post-purchase customer interaction data from Salesforce and SAP for analysis.
• AI-Enhanced Insights: Utilize AI tools to generate and evaluate predictive insights, supporting the development of a proactive service model.
• Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns between service cases and product failures, preparing integrated datasets for modeling.
• Visualization & Reporting: Build dashboards and visual analytics to summarize predictive insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with the Solutions & Services team to align insights with strategic objectives and document all processes and findings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Early Career.
• Experience: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and comfort working with structured data and performing data cleaning.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely.
• Bonus: Experience with Salesforce data structures or SAP environments, exposure to Python, R, or SQL, understanding of predictive modeling concepts, or an interest in customer experience, product reliability, or service operations.
