Position: Early Career Data Analyst

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Data Analyst. In this role, you will perform as a technical contributor for execution of at least one of the following F-35 Sustainment activities:

  • Fleet metric reporting/degrader analysis and reconciliation including process efficiency identification/assessment.
  • Modeling data creation (data science/analytics) in support of performance modeling (supply logistics or fleet achievable metrics).
  • Analytics tool capability development/test including dashboard design/creation.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel and Access), databases such as HANA/SQL, and knowledge of aircraft or military logistics. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or other related fields.
  • Coursework or experience with manipulation/analysis of data in spreadsheets (MS Excel).
  • Coursework or experience in using databases and/or visualizations (MS Access, HANA, Tableau, or SQL/Oracle).
  • Coursework or experience in formal presentation development, PowerPoint construct and delivery, and working in a team environment.

Desired Skills

  • Advanced experience in using spreadsheets (MS Excel – Equations, Pivot Tables and/or VBA).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of performance metric measures and readiness reporting techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Python, SharePoint or Tableau experience a plus.

Security Clearance

  • This position requires a government security clearance.
  • You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Clearance Level: Secret

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week, while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
