What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Modern Applications: Actively support and maintain critical government business web applications, specifically utilizing Vue JS for the frontend, C# .NET Core 7.0 Web APIs for the backend, and Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures for database interactions.
• Provide Legacy Production Support: Deliver essential production support for older government applications, addressing issues within a technology stack that includes C# .NET Framework 4.8 Web Forms, jQuery for the frontend, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Utilize Development Tools: Leverage a suite of professional development tools, including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Enterprise Manager, and GIT for version control, to manage and implement software solutions.
• Adhere to Methodologies: Participate and contribute within an Agile scrum-like development methodology, ensuring efficient project progression and collaboration.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Work both independently and as a valued member of a team, applying strong analytical and communication skills throughout the development lifecycle to achieve project goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a BA/BS degree in a relevant field. Allowable substitutions include an AS or AA degree with three years of experience matching the position’s requirements, or five years of matching experience.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in project support.
• Skills: C# language experience, SQL language experience, and Modern JavaScript framework experience.
• Bonus: Desired experience includes software development utilizing C#, a modern JavaScript framework, and a SQL database. Preferred education includes an IT degree or a certificate of completion from a coding bootcamp program, and professional certifications like MCSD are a plus. Strong professional skills such as excellent communication, analytical thinking, ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment, self-motivation, detail-orientation, and multi-tasking abilities are highly valued. Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and be U.S. Citizens.
