The TL;DR

• Mission: Support the Line of Business in developing and executing work projects to achieve business goals, functioning as a Quality Engineer to ensure platform and technology integrity.
• Tech Stack: Agile Methodology, AI and Machine Learning, Confluence, DevOps Automation, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Open Source Tools and Databases, SQL, Test Automation, Web APIs/RESTful Services; API/SOS web development

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Contribute to the development and execution of work projects to achieve business goals and objectives within the assigned Line of Business.
• Quality Engineering: Function as a Quality Engineer, focusing on maintaining and improving the quality of platforms and technology solutions.
• Professional Development: Participate in a 10-week non-rotational program offering professional experiences, development training, and extensive networking opportunities with senior leaders.
• Community Engagement: Actively take part in community service projects as an integral part of the internship experience.
• Cultural Integration: Embody TD’s Shared Commitments and uphold a customer-focused culture in all daily activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a post-secondary degree, preferably in IT-related disciplines, with an anticipated graduation between December 2026 to June 2027. This is an early career internship opportunity.
• Experience: Knowledge of Microsoft tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to take initiative and accountability for actions; demonstrated leadership qualities; strong written and oral communications skills; detail-oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks; capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship.
• Bonus: Experience or familiarity with Agile Methodology, AI and Machine Learning, Confluence, DevOps Automation, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Open Source Tools and Databases, SQL, Test Automation, Web APIs/RESTful Services, or API/SOS web development.
