Digital Content Intern | Gazette Gal
The Tone:
This is an internship at Gazette Gal, located remotely. Gazette Gal is a digital media company where the mission is to inspire and inform over 1 million women for a well-lived life, through smart and stylish content. This role is a hands-on opportunity to grow the media brand’s digital presence through creating engaging written and visual content. The ideal candidate will become the resident expert in a specific content niche, producing well-written articles, executing trending ideas, and sourcing on-brand, chic visuals that align with the company’s voice and standards.

• Mission: To own a specific content vertical, researching, sourcing, and producing polished, publish-ready content that reflects Gazette Gal’s voice and standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Production: Produce a minimum of 2 publish-ready articles per week within your assigned content vertical.
• Research & Strategy: Research topics, trends, and audience interests based on content gaps and current search demand.
• Sourcing & Visuals: Source chic, on-brand affiliate products and properly format images per Gazette Gal guidelines for each article.
• SEO & Maintenance: Conduct basic keyword research and apply SEO best practices using AI, and revisit published articles weekly to update and correct as needed.
• Editorial Compliance: Reference the GG Editorial Style Guide for all content and contribute to maintaining the long-term content calendar.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. A genuine interest in your assigned vertical, demonstrating you follow it, read it, live it, and know how to deliver it. This is not a journalism role.
• Experience: Prior content experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong writing and editing skills in English; an eye for trends and chic, brand-aligned products that fit the Gazette Gal aesthetic; ability to research across multiple sources and synthesize into engaging content; and attention to detail, especially around formatting, brand spelling, and style consistency.
• Bonus: Prior content experience.
