Remote Entry-Level Vacation Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Planning: Assist clients in comprehensively planning, researching, and booking a wide range of domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities.
  • Personalized Recommendations: Provide tailored travel recommendations and expert advice based on individual client preferences, budgetary considerations, and specific travel goals.
  • Documentation & Quoting: Prepare and organize detailed quotes, compelling proposals, and comprehensive travel itineraries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bookings, payment statuses, and client communications.
  • Communication & Support: Respond promptly and professionally to all client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, demonstrating exceptional care and attention.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate bookings and ensure timely confirmations with various travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, tour operators, etc.).
  • Market Awareness: Stay continuously informed about current travel trends, emerging destinations, industry news, and relevant travel policies to offer the most up-to-date and accurate guidance.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective client interaction.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, including comfortable use of email, web browsing for research, and data entry.
  • Customer Service Acumen: Demonstrated strong customer service skills with a client-first approach.
  • Organizational Excellence: Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
  • Independence: Proven ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in travel or tourism are highly beneficial but not mandatory.
