What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support diverse project management activities daily across multiple projects or workstreams.
• Develop: Develop and maintain essential project plans, schedules, and various tracking artifacts.
• Monitor: Monitor project milestones, action items, risks, and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Document: Create and update all necessary project documentation, including status reports and meeting summaries.
• Coordinate: Organize project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to promote effective team collaboration.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience supporting projects or operational initiatives; experience utilizing project tracking or collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, or Confluence.
• Skills: Understanding of core project management concepts including scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies; strong organizational capabilities; effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments; experience supporting federal or government IT projects; CAPM or entry-level project management certification, or active coursework toward certification.
