Job Description: Beverage Server

As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service by serving beverages quickly, efficiently, and courteously. This role requires maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality guest service, maintaining friendliness and a smile during all interactions.
• Complete job tasks in a timely manner according to department standards.
• Familiarize yourself with cocktails and their prices to ensure proper ordering and expedition of beverage orders.
• Suggest and upsell cocktails to guests.
• Observe and anticipate guests’ needs to fulfill additional requests promptly.
• Serve tables in the proper order of arrival, with exceptions for common sense situations or supervisor requests.
• Inform your immediate supervisor of any critical supply or service situations.
• Perform assigned side work and any additional daily tasks.
• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations, encouraging others to do the same.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
• Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
• Keep assigned workstation clean, including ashtrays and coin wrappers.
• Follow all cash handling procedures as listed in the Food & Beverage Manual.
• Adhere to the calling order when ordering cocktails.
• Maintain compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: One (1) year experience as a server in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Personality: Must have a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Communication: Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Cash Handling: Must have cash handling experience.
• Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to carry and balance a tray.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Service Skills: Provide excellent guest service.
• Teamwork: Ability to establish rapport with other team members throughout the casino.
• Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Work Ethic: Exceptional work habits.
• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age to fulfill job requirements.
