Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program is an intensive 10-12 week experience, running from May/June to August/September. This program offers a dynamic, flexible, and enjoyable environment where interns can engage in meaningful projects and tackle new challenges daily.

What You’ll Do

As an FP&A Intern, you will collaborate closely with financial analysts and managers on various responsibilities, including:

  • Gathering, preparing, and validating monthly reports, ensuring their integrity.
  • Developing charts and calculations for presentations on key business drivers and metrics.
  • Collaborating with FP Analysts on data validation and ensuring mapping integrity within EPB (Enterprise Performance Management).
  • Assisting FP Analysts on special projects focused on research, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and automation initiatives.

Who You’ll Work With

You will be an integral part of the Global Consulting Services FP&A team. This team is responsible for consolidating the worldwide services financial forecast, validating actual monthly/quarterly financial results, and providing standardized reporting and analysis. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will interact with various groups across Teradata, gaining a unique opportunity to learn about the operations of a services business, as well as Teradata’s products and customer base.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Must be currently enrolled in a BS degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Preferred graduation dates are between June 2026 and December 2027.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas and information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated Financial/Analytical Skills: Acquired through formal education.
  • Knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles.
  • Attention to Detail and Strong Work Ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Power BI desirable: Familiarity with business intelligence tools is a plus.
