Full-Time Retail Sales Associate | FirstCash
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at FirstCash, located across its pawn store locations nationwide. FirstCash operates pawn stores that provide both lending services and retail sales. This role is crucial for ensuring excellent customer service, processing various transactions, and maintaining the store’s operations. The associate will engage directly with customers, assisting them with both financial solutions and merchandise purchases in a professional and positive manner.

• Mission: To partner with store staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Transaction Processing: Perform sales, loan, and other transactions following established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Cash Management: Handle all cash and negotiable items accurately according to company policies and procedures.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and ensure merchandise is displayed properly.
• Communication: Answer incoming calls and effectively communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Ability to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in basic math calculations, strong desire to serve customers and work in a team-oriented environment, ability to multi-task effectively.
• Bonus: Bilingual applicants are encouraged; must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
