Product Software Engineer | Vendori

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Vendori, located in Atlanta, GA (hybrid). Vendori is the only truly no-code Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform, designed specifically for SaaS and technology companies to drive efficiency, accelerate deal velocity, and maximize revenue potential. As an early engineering hire, this role makes foundational contributions across the stack, immediately impacting customers and ensuring the long-term success of the product in the competitive CPQ space.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid, Atlanta, GA

• Team: Reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer as one of the early engineering hires.
• Mission: To design, develop, and scale Vendori’s key platform features, making foundational contributions that immediately impact customers and ensure product success.
• Tech Stack: Javascript/Typescript, HTML/CSS, SQL, React, NextJS, NestJS, AWS, Docker, AI coding frameworks.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications, working on both front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless integration and a smooth user experience.
• Solution Design: Design and deliver technical solutions end-to-end, collaborating with the Vendori leadership team to understand requirements and with the engineering team to refine architectural designs before execution.
• Code Quality and Testing: Maintain a high standard of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of applications and contributing to improving development processes.
• Innovation and Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, with the opportunity to propose and implement improvements to the technology stack and development methodologies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Professional experience building web-based software applications.
• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience building web-based software applications. Experience with AI coding frameworks and methodologies. Have delivered projects using frameworks such as React, NextJS, and NestJS. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker.
• Skills: Proficiency with Javascript/Typescript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and other languages. A strong foundation in object-oriented design, API design, and data modeling. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective communication with the rest of the company.
• Bonus: 5+ years of professional experience building web-based software applications. Ability to design and build flexible data models and UIs which are highly configurable. Functional knowledge of Sales / Finance / Operations processes and/or data affected by CPQ software. Proven experience building and maintaining integrations with external systems such as CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), Finance (Quickbooks, SAP), and ERP (Oracle, SAP).
