The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers by maintaining full knowledge of all store products and policies, providing accurate and helpful information to enhance their shopping decisions.
• Sales & Transaction Management: Efficiently operate the point of sale (POS) register, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions and proficient handling of cash, credit, and other payment forms to meet and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
• Store Operations & Merchandising: Execute best-in-class operational and presentation standards by effectively managing store inventory, which includes moving boxes and merchandise up to 40 lbs and safely climbing ladders to maintain displays.
• Security & Team Collaboration: Proactively detect and address theft and other potential security risks, while working collaboratively as a cohesive team to achieve shared objectives and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Exceptional Customer Experience: Consistently create an amazing and pleasant shopping atmosphere for all customers, ensuring every interaction contributes to a positive and memorable experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a High School diploma or its equivalent, establishing a foundational educational background for the role.
• Skills: Possess strong skills in point of sale (POS) operation and accurate cash handling, coupled with effective customer service and comprehensive product knowledge. Demonstrate proficiency in achieving sales goals, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of security awareness.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include previous retail sales experience, a demonstrated history of personal success in work, school, or sports, and a genuine passion for Wolverine Worldwide’s diverse brands and associated lifestyles, along with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
