About Year Up United
Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to equip young adults with essential skills for launching a professional career. The program offers a comprehensive approach, combining:
- In-classroom skill development
- Access to internships and/or job placement services
- Personalized coaching and mentorship
- An educational stipend
This unique program integrates technical and professional training with robust job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement. Participants may receive internships at top organizations in the Phoenix area, including American Express, Bank of America, Nationwide, and Amazon.
Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible to apply to Year Up United if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a high school graduate or GED recipient.
- You are eligible to work in the U.S.
- You are available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program.
- You are highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
- You have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.

During the internship phase of the program, Year Up United students receive an educational stipend of $525 per week.
