Summer Digital Marketing Intern
Cadence Education is seeking a passionate and eager-to-learn Summer Intern to join our marketing team on-site in Scottsdale. This 10-week internship, running from early June through mid-August, offers a unique opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of digital marketing, social media, and website analytics within a leading early childhood education organization.

Key Responsibilities
Support Social Media Marketing:
- Learn to navigate and utilize the business platform of Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
- Assist with general social media tasks, including granting admin access to Meta pages and helping to boost posts.
- Conduct weekly checks of school Meta pages to note and report inactivity.
- Gather and organize photos from school social pages to build content libraries for future use.
- Help identify and pull relevant posts for the Cadence Connect internal newsletter.
Support Website Updates and Optimizations:
- Learn to work within WordPress to assist with website content and imagery updates based on marketing team requests.
- Assist with local listing management, optimizations, and audits using the Soci platform, including updating imagery in listings.
- Learn the basics of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Geographic SEO) by performing keyword research, updating metadata, and refining content.
- Build foundational marketing analytics knowledge through practical application with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Google Search Console, and learn to translate performance reporting into actionable optimizations for individual schools.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Outlook skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram.
- Self-starter: Demonstrated willingness to research, find resources independently, and learn new skills to accomplish tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues both within and outside the marketing department.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, coupled with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work on-site in our Scottsdale office 2-3 days per week.
