Role Description:

This internship role as a Social Media Marketing Intern is a hybrid position based in San Jose, CA, with flexibility to work remotely part-time. The intern will assist in managing and growing Tenpo’s social media presence by creating engaging content, driving audience engagement, and supporting general digital marketing efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Crafting effective posts for various social media platforms.
  • Contributing to marketing campaigns and content calendars.
  • Monitoring social media trends and competitor activities.
  • Driving audience engagement through interactive content and community management.
  • Assisting with analytics to improve social media strategy and performance.
  • Supporting general digital marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
  • Experience or knowledge in Digital Marketing and general Marketing strategies.
  • Excellent Communication skills and the ability to connect with online audiences.
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver consistent brand messaging.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a significant plus.
  • Enthusiasm for content creation and an eagerness to learn in the fast-paced tech/startup environment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.
