Interns will be embedded with experienced engineers, contributing directly to production systems and learning by shipping. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Temporary (Approximately 6 months, with flexible summer/semester options)
• Location: Birmingham AL, NYC, San Francisco
• Pay: $15–$25 hourly
• Team: Reports to CTO
• Mission: Tackle real-world technical problems by contributing meaningfully to production systems.
• Tech Stack: React/Next.js, Go, TypeScript, Python, Docker, AWS, Azure, Heroku, SQL, dbt, Grafana, Looker, Snowflake, Git

What You’ll Actually Do
• Software Development: Work with modern web technologies and backend services.
• DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize cloud environments.
• Data Engineering and Analytics: Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting tools.
• Internal IT Systems and Security: Ensure the robustness and security of internal operations.
• Hybrid Role: Collaboratively define a technical path that aligns with your growth and our needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Genuinely curious about software, data, or infrastructure.
• Experience: Demonstrated initiative by building something on your own, regardless of its scale or complexity.
• Skills: Ability to be energized by ambiguity and to help define solutions to problems.
• Bonus: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a similar field; Familiarity with foundational developer tools and platforms such as Git, Docker, SQL, or any cloud platform; Previous internship or project experience in a related technical field.
