What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Care: Provide skilled nursing care to a single client in their home, adhering to physician orders and established care plans.
• Assessment: Monitor and continuously assess the client’s medical condition, vitals, and overall well-being.
• Documentation: Accurately record all care provided and client observations using electronic charting systems.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate meaningful, long-term relationships with clients, observing their real progress and milestones.
• Diverse Care: Deliver comprehensive care to clients across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, coupled with an active and good standing LPN license in New Jersey.
• Experience: Practical experience providing skilled nursing care, ideally with exposure to both adult and pediatric populations in a private duty or home health setting.
• Skills: Proficient in skilled nursing care provision, patient monitoring and assessment, accurate electronic charting, and effective communication for client and family interaction.
