• Mission: To provide direct patient care and support to patients during their recovery journey within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, while simultaneously gaining clinical experience and preparing to become a fully credentialed Registered Nurse.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care activities that are appropriate to your training and developing competency for assigned patients.
• Care Collaboration: Complete and assist Registered Nurses with assigned patient care activities, actively promoting excellent patient satisfaction and positive outcomes.
• Clinical Development: Gain essential clinical experience by actively learning nursing procedures, understanding various disease processes, and familiarizing yourself with the hospital environment.
• Professional Interaction: Interact effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to build collaborative relationships within the healthcare team.
• Patient Advocacy: Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery journey and celebrate their milestones.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional who has completed a Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Experience: Must demonstrate eligibility to sit for the NCLEX examination, with a critical requirement to take the NCLEX within six months of being granted Graduate Nurse status.
• Skills: Possession of current CPR certification is required.
