Asset Management Group Undergraduate Intern | PNC
The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at PNC, an in-office company, based throughout its footprint. PNC’s Asset Management Group (AMG) provides sophisticated, customized financial solutions, including investment management and wealth planning, to individual and corporate clients with significant assets. This internship offers undergraduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience, expand career tools, and contribute to business results within one of AMG’s specialized areas like Private Bank, Institutional Asset Management, or the Investment Office.
The TL;DR

• Type: Temporary (10-week program)
• Location: Throughout PNC’s footprint (In-person)
• Pay: $18–$35 hourly
• Team: Asset Management Group, comprising Institutional Asset Management, PNC Private Bank, and the Investment Office.
• Mission: To support core group activities and gain practical experience while contributing to business results within the Asset Management Group.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Perform or assist in the core activities of the Asset Management Group, applying learned knowledge to drive business outcomes.
• Provide deal, sales, or process support, engage in internal or external client interaction, and assist with internal projects.
• Participate in social learning opportunities by identifying and networking with business representatives and peers.
• Engage in professional development through mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach initiatives.
• Contribute to a group capstone presentation, showcasing insights gained during the internship program.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently working toward a bachelor’s degree, specifically in junior status.
• Experience: Little to no prior professional experience required, but must possess relevant skills for the role.
• Skills: Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Analytical Thinking, Effective Communications, Initiative, and Self-Directed Growth and Development.
• Bonus: Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, and Actuarial Sciences.
