The TL;DR

• Pay: $18–$20 hourly
• Mission: Ensuring product quality and safety through rigorous evaluation and testing from incoming ingredients to continuous production control.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Evaluation: Evaluate incoming ingredients for conformance with product specifications.
• Testing: Perform inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over production specifications.
• Inspection: Inspect blending and bottling operations for conformance to process and packaging standards.
• Analysis: Determine Brix-Acid Ratio (BAR) and oil levels in product blends.
• Microbiology: Perform microbiological plating functions and environmental testing activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with foundational knowledge in chemistry and biology principles.
• Experience: Experience in laboratory settings with proficiency in wet chemistry and titration techniques.
• Skills: Analytical chemistry knowledge, quality assurance expertise, and experience in food science.
• Bonus: Ability to maintain the raw material sampling program and experience in maintaining calibration programs for lab equipment.
