Junior Supply Chain Associate | Joe & The Juice

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Joe & The Juice, located in SoHo, New York City. Joe & The Juice is a global, people-centric food and beverage company that builds its brand around culture, healthy products like juices and sandwiches, and first-class service. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain, providing essential support in cost control, inventory management, and procurement for the company’s US West Coast operations.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, New York, NY
• Pay: $25 hourly
• Team: Supports the US Supply Chain department, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
• Mission: Provides essential support in cost control, inventory management, and procurement to ensure efficient supply chain processes.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Procurement system.

What You’ll Actually Do
Invoice Management: Accurately process and maintain records for all supplier invoices and credits, including monthly pricing files, and reconcile any discrepancies.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage the availability of seasonal items, ensuring stock levels meet business demand and updating inventory ideals weekly.
Procurement Support: Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
System Administration: Regularly update the procurement system with accurate product data and promptly reflect all product price changes.
Managerial Assistance: Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager for daily operations, including scheduling, order tracking, internal reports, and ad-hoc requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with an understanding of cost control principles and procurement processes.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, keen attention to detail for processing large data volumes, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), effective communication, and critical thinking to troubleshoot supply chain issues.
• Bonus: Prior experience with procurement system maintenance and product price updates.
