Summer 2026 Internship Program | ERCOT

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at ERCOT, located in Taylor, TX. ERCOT is responsible for building the future of the Texas power grid and wholesale market using advanced technologies. What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation: Document Power Automate workflows and logs to support process improvements.
• Process Enhancement: Develop methods to separate and prioritize training logs and implement code enhancements in the test environment.
• Project Support: Participate in testing the deployment of on-prem Microsoft Project Server.
• Reporting Analysis: Reverse-engineer selected Power BI reports to understand their underlying structure and data.
• Operations Assistance: Load engagements in Microsoft Project Online and assess resource capacity for proposed project starts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an academic bachelor’s or postgraduate degree program, having completed sophomore year.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are required; this is an early career internship program.
• Skills: Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Bonus: Candidate pursuing a Computer Science or business degree.
