Job Description: Accounting Co-Op

What You Will Do
As an Accounting Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience in various critical accounting functions within the construction industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and processing Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and monthly subcontractor pay requests.
- Preparing monthly owner billings, contributing to the financial health of our projects.
- Reconciling, auditing, and forecasting for internal monthly cost reports, providing vital financial insights.
- Resolving various accounting and contract insurance issues, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Maintaining and monitoring job files and document control, ensuring organized and accessible records.
- Reviewing and auditing reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial statements.
- Preparing various accounting reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Auditing monthly state use tax returns, ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for motivated individuals eager to grow their careers in accounting:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree required.
- Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
