Culinary/Dietary Aide | Raintree Village

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Raintree Village, a vibrant senior living community offering diverse levels of living, including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. The organization is dedicated to enriching residents’ lives through quality care and fostering an exceptional work environment for its team members. The Culinary/Dietary Aide is a vital part of the culinary team, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and creating a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere for residents and their guests.

• Team: Vital part of the culinary team, reporting to the Culinary Director
• Mission: To deliver exceptional dining experiences by serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and creating an enjoyable dining atmosphere.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Enhance Dining Experience: Help create a restaurant-style dining experience through attentive meal service, outstanding customer service, and collaborative teamwork.
• Ensure Meal Accuracy: Meticulously follow written and oral instructions, adhere to diet orders/tray cards, and deliver accurate meal orders while noting and strictly following special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain Sanitation & Setup: Assist with comprehensive cleaning routines after meals and meticulously set up for the next meal service, following proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Manage Inventory: Assist in the receiving and proper storage of food and supplies as directed by the Culinary Director.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Follow defined safety codes while performing all duties, adhere strictly to Infection Control procedures, and understand community fire and disaster plans.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level support within a culinary or dietary setting.
• Experience: Ability to follow written and oral instructions meticulously, adhering to diet orders/tray cards.
• Skills: Attentive meal service, outstanding customer service, collaborative teamwork, adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, and knowledge of safety codes and infection control.
