Nello June is a premium knitwear brand founded in 2024 in Carlsbad, CA, creating luxurious everyday pieces and dresses designed for life’s most special moments.

Role Description

This is a Social Media & Brand Marketing Intern position for school credit only, based in Carlsbad, CA with remote opportunities available. The intern will play a pivotal role in supporting Nello June’s social media presence by assisting with content creation, planning and executing social posts, and helping to develop innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with photoshoots and visual content production, including supporting content capture.
• Brainstorming creative campaigns and contributing fresh ideas for brand storytelling.
• Identifying current social media trends and proposing strategies to leverage them for Nello June.
• Helping to bring the Nello June brand story to life across various digital platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
• Potentially assisting with planning photoshoots, creative coordination, and supporting marketing initiatives around campaigns and new product launches.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience creating engaging content for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• A strong interest in social media marketing, branding, and overall digital marketing strategy.
• Exceptional creative and visual storytelling skills, with an eye for aesthetics aligned with a premium brand.
• Ability to generate compelling content and innovative marketing ideas independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with social media trends, engagement strategies, and basic analytics.
• Knowledge of video editing or graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop is a significant plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for fashion and brand storytelling.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Media, or a related field and eligible to receive school credit for the internship.

Location

Carlsbad, CA is preferred for one intern, especially for those available for occasional in-person photoshoots. Remote candidates are also welcome, particularly those based in major fashion and creative hubs such as Los Angeles, New York City, or Miami.
