Account Executive, South-Eastern US Region | Keepit

The Tone:
This is a full-time Account Executive role at Keepit, a company dedicated to helping organizations protect and secure their critical cloud data. While the company is headquartered in Copenhagen with global offices, this specific position is ideally located in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina, with an expectation of regional travel to meet customers and partners, and annual travel to the Copenhagen HQ for the Global Sales Kick-Off. Keepit provides a leading SaaS-based data protection platform, ensuring data remains safe, accessible, and uncompromised through its cloud-to-cloud backup solution. This role is crucial for Keepit’s ambitious expansion in the South-Eastern US, focusing on commercial and enterprise accounts by building trusted relationships and effectively communicating the business value of their market-leading solution.

• Location: Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina (with regional travel and annual travel to Copenhagen)
• Team: Reports directly to the VP Sales, Americas, and collaborates with SDRs, partners, and the Partner Sales team.
• Mission: Play a vital role in Keepit’s ambitious expansion by building relationships of trust with key stakeholders, uncovering their needs and pains, effectively communicating the business value of Keepit’s market-leading cloud-to-cloud backup solution, and driving the sales process for commercial and enterprise accounts from start to finish.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Cycle Ownership: Own the complete sales cycle, including nurturing contacts and conducting screen share or in-person demonstrations.
• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with commercial and enterprise customers and key decision-makers to sell Keepit’s platform and software solution.
• Pipeline & Forecasting: Systematically manage your sales pipeline and forecast accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Ecosystem Development: Collaborate closely with the Regional Partner Manager and utilize your network to grow a thriving partner ecosystem in the region.
• New Business Hunting: Work creatively to hunt for new business and build new relations with potential customers by brainstorming new ideas with sales leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Proven ability to quickly understand and independently drive the sales process for simple, user-friendly SaaS solutions, particularly in data protection or cloud services, targeting commercial and enterprise accounts.
• Experience: Demonstrated history of owning the complete sales cycle from nurturing contacts to conducting demonstrations, including establishing and nurturing strong relationships with commercial and enterprise customers. Experience in systematically managing a sales pipeline and accurately forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Skills: Full Sales Cycle Management, Commercial & Enterprise Relationship Building, Strategic Pipeline Management, Accurate Sales Forecasting, Creative New Business Development.
