This is an entry-level role at Carvana, located in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers. As a Parts Associate, you will contribute directly to this promise by ensuring the availability and proper management of automotive parts needed for vehicle reconditioning, equipping cars for our customers.

• Mission: Ensure the availability and organization of automotive parts to support vehicle reconditioning efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Parts Ordering: Order necessary automotive parts for vehicle reconditioning processes.
• Inventory Identification: Identify and accurately record parts needed for various vehicles.
• Storage Management: Maintain an organized and efficient storage area for all automotive parts.
• Distribution & Receipt: Receive incoming parts and efficiently pick specific parts for vehicles as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role, with comprehensive training programs provided by Carvana.
• Experience: No prior experience in automotive parts is required.
• Skills:
• Physical Aptitude: Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including the independent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
• Adaptability: Capacity to work effectively in an ever-changing production environment, which may include exposure to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Safety Consciousness: Willingness to consistently use required safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments.
• Foundational Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Bonus: Willingness to contribute mandatory overtime when business needs require it to meet customer expectations.
