What You’ll Actually Do
• Entity Management: Be the primary owner for ensuring corporate entities remain in good standing across the US and Canada, independently handling all required reports and state requests.
• Brand Protection: Monitor intellectual property for infringements, drafting and initiating cease-and-desist workflows to protect the company’s brand.
• Consumer Escalations: Serve as the initial point of contact for complex consumer escalations, investigating root causes, proposing solutions, and leading compliance training for the workforce.
• Process Improvement: Review products and processes for compliance, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to implement systemic improvements for user friction or compliance risks.
• Compliance Audits: Lead compliance audits across operations, proactively monitoring risk areas to ensure practices exceed regulatory standards and set industry benchmarks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional with a Bachelor’s degree from an academically rigorous program demonstrating high performance, with core domain knowledge in legal operations and compliance.
• Experience: Demonstrated resourcefulness and a proven track record of finding solutions independently; an interest in using AI/technology to optimize workflows.
• Skills: Process optimization and automation using AI/low-code tools; meticulous attention to detail and organizational rigor; proactive problem-solving and full ownership; comfort with ambiguity and urgency.
