This platform offers massive distribution and a top-tier digital purchasing experience for a diverse range of clients, including insurance carriers, event organizers, booking platforms, and ticketing systems, as well as their consumers. Our e-commerce solution is integrated into millions of carts monthly, and we are looking for a talented Junior QA Engineer to join our high-performing team.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Junior QA Engineer who can seamlessly integrate into an existing team. Your primary contribution will be to ensure the quality of our technology stack, playing a crucial part in performing foundational testing tasks under the guidance of senior QA members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foundational Documentation and Testing: Take ownership of core manual testing tasks. This includes writing and executing basic manual test cases, performing thorough manual regression testing, meticulously documenting test execution and identified bugs, and contributing to process documentation.
  • Test Case Management: Collaborate with Senior QA Engineers or product owners to create and update test cases within TestRail for new features and releases, ensuring that test plans are accurately aligned with user stories and business requirements.
  • Exploratory Testing: Assist with exploratory testing on both new and existing features, with a particular focus on partner site testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Bug Identification & Resolution: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of the software, efficiently identify bugs, document them in the bug tracking system, and verify that fixes are implemented correctly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate test results and findings to stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress and any encountered issues.
  • Learning & Development: Actively learn and experiment with new testing methodologies, explore automation concepts (e.g., Playwright), and leverage AI-assisted tools for enhanced test planning.
  • Team Participation: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and QA syncs, offering regular updates on testing progress and addressing any issues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Logical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think logically and effectively determine comprehensive test cases from a project description.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and apply new testing methodologies and tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Technical Acumen: Basic understanding and ability to write code in TypeScript.
  • Experience Level: No formal QA experience is required, but candidates must be technically curious, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • SDLC & Agile: Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Programming Experience: Experience developing with Python and TypeScript.
  • Automation Interest: Enthusiasm for learning test automation concepts and frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
  • AI Interest: Interest in experimenting with AI tools for test planning and productivity enhancements.
