Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating on Design & Execution: Partner with the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) to design and plan the implementation and integration of HashiCorp tool(s) within the scope of client engagements.
  • Technical Solution Execution: Implement the technical customer solution plans meticulously designed by the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) assigned to your accounts.
  • HashiCorp Solution Management: Design, implement, and manage HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Assist in the design and configuration of seamless third-party integrations with HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Documentation & Automation: Create essential support documentation, automation scripts, runbooks, and other relevant collateral pertaining to HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Software Maintenance: Aid in the application and execution of software patches and upgrades for HashiCorp enterprise solutions, specifically within non-production environments.
  • Consultation & Integration: Provide expert consultation to various application, platform, and operations teams on integrating their tools, applications, and services with HashiCorp tools.
  • Cloud Transformation Support: Execute specific tasks crucial to our customers’ cloud transformation journeys, particularly as they relate to the HashiCorp product suite.
  • Automation Development: Build robust automation for the deployment, management, and ongoing operation of one or more of our HashiCorp solutions.
  • Operating Model Alignment: Assist customers in aligning their people, processes, and workflows with the modern Cloud Operating Model.
  • Cloud Consumption Redefinition: Articulate and refine the cloud consumption model, specifically in relation to the HashiCorp Tao of workflows.
  • Developer Velocity & Governance: Directly impact developer velocity while simultaneously satisfying critical objectives related to governance, risk, and controls.
  • Business Value Communication: Be acutely aware of and effectively communicate the significant business value of the HashiCorp product suite to customers.
  • Technical Functionality Articulation: Clearly articulate the technical functionality of HashiCorp products and additional third-party integrations to practitioners, product owners, and managers.
  • User Education & Guidance: Educate and advise customer users on how HashiCorp tools can enable and simplify the adoption of the Cloud Operating Model as an integral part of their cloud transformation journey.
  • Best Practices Education: Educate individual contributors on industry best practices concerning system administration, service administration, automation, and observability.
  • Customer Background Checks: Be subject to additional background checks and screening procedures performed by the customer, as required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Operating Systems: Proven experience operating both Linux and Windows systems.
  • Software Development Fundamentals: Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and version control solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices.
  • Public Cloud Exposure: Exposure to and understanding of at least one public cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their most common services.
  • Collaboration: The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in group environments.
  • Independence: The ability to work independently, executing tasks based on a provided roadmap with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: The ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and simply to diverse audiences.
  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with common security and compliance requirements relevant to enterprise solutions.
