This Accounting Intern role is crucial for supporting daily accounting and financial processes, offering an opportunity to gain practical experience with general ledger, reconciliation, and financial reporting within a growing tech company.

• Mission: Support the day-to-day accounting and financial processes of SpotHero.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Develop and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Utilize: Gain practical experience with Netsuite accounting software and assist in building reports.
• Report: Contribute to the preparation of relevant financial reporting documents.
• Analyze: Support the team in conducting monthly variance analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent college graduate, with a minimum 3.3 GPA required.
• Experience: Academic completion of at least two years towards a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel; foundational understanding of balance sheet reconciliation; knowledge of financial reporting; ability to support variance analysis.
