What You’ll Actually Do
• Care Planning and Collaboration: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans, actively collaborating with experienced Registered Nurses and the broader healthcare team for comprehensive patient support.
• Medication and Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring meticulous accuracy, patient safety, and strict compliance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Patient Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough patient assessments, meticulously documenting vital signs, observing and recording patient responses to care, and promptly noting any significant changes in condition within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Education and Daily Support: Deliver essential patient and family education regarding care, procedures, and treatment plans, while also supporting patient mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities to maintain comfort and a clean environment.
• Communication and Safety Compliance: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, reporting changes in patient conditions to supervising RNs, and adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and hospital policies for a secure care environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices; ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively; proficiency in administering medications and monitoring for side effects; effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Bonus: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
