What You’ll Actually Do
• Design & Maintenance: Assist in the design, maintenance, and optimization of responsive WordPress websites, ensuring user experience.
• SEO Implementation: Implement comprehensive on-page SEO improvements, including meta titles/descriptions and strategic internal linking.
• Backlink Building: Conduct thorough keyword research and proactively pursue backlink opportunities through strategic outreach.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on website performance metrics using industry-standard tools like Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights.
• Content Creation: Take part in the creation, editing, and layout of new content pages, ensuring they are engaging and SEO-friendly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A current high school junior/senior or college student, legally eligible for unpaid internships, and currently living in the United States.
• Experience: Basic experience with WordPress, an understanding of fundamental SEO principles, and familiarity with tools such as Yoast SEO or Google Search Console.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, a proactive and self-motivated work ethic, and comfort working remotely while managing personal tasks.
