Consumer Insight Intern | Disney Experiences
The Tone:
This is a full-time, six-month internship at Disney Experiences, located in Orlando, FL. The Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) team, a vital part of the Global Marketing & Sales organization, is dedicated to providing objective and actionable insights that influence crucial decision-making across the company. The intern will join the Consumer Insight team to support ongoing projects, contributing to a deeper understanding of Disney’s consumers and Guests. This role directly supports efforts to identify improvement opportunities and influence key business strategies within Disney Experiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research Assistance: Support ongoing projects by assisting with both quantitative and qualitative consumer research efforts.
• Data Analysis: Partner with team leaders to analyze diverse data sources, extracting meaningful insights about consumers and Guests.
• Study Development: Contribute to the design and crafting of new research studies to explore specific questions and behaviors.
• Presentation Creation: Build clear and compelling presentations to effectively communicate research findings.
• Insight Sharing: Share synthesized research results and actionable insights with various internal partners across the business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an accredited college/university, preferably in Junior or Senior year, pursuing a degree with a major or coursework in Market Research, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with SPSS or a similar statistical software package, alongside strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. A required writing sample detailing an independently conducted research project must be submitted.
• Skills: Possess strategic problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit for building relationships. A curious nature and a passion for understanding the “what” and “why” behind consumer behavior are essential, along with the capability to translate data points into clear findings and compelling presentations.
• Bonus: Prior familiarity with conducting surveys or previous market research experience is preferred.
