Role Description: Operations Intern

UrbanXperts is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our team on-site in Delhi, OH. This internship provides an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the home and office improvement industry, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our operations. The Operations Intern will play a crucial role in supporting various facets of our business, from daily operations to strategic improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and execution across departments.
  • Coordinate and provide support for various project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for and implementing process optimizations across different operational areas.
  • Collaborate actively with team members to develop and execute effective operational strategies.
  • Provide essential support for resource management, including inventory tracking, equipment oversight, and personnel allocation.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of operational documentation and reports.

  • Team Player & Independent Worker: Proven ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a significant advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management capabilities, and effective problem-solving abilities.
