Collegiate Hotel Group® is actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to become a vital part of the culinary team at Graduate Bloomington. Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
• Ensures organized and clean storage areas for all food items.
• Ensures that all food items are properly handled and stored at the conclusion of each shift.
• Properly rotates inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Prepares food meticulously according to established specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
• Maintains clean and orderly storage areas, ensuring accurate product pars are met.
• Works collaboratively with management to create exciting specials and other menu variations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management to support the culinary team and overall operations.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Previous cook experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and guests.
• Proven ability to work as a cohesive team player.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed the expectations of guests through exceptional service and food quality.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
