The Tone:

This role is essential for preparing food to established specifications, upholding high sanitation standards, and contributing to a positive guest experience within the hospitality environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
Sanitation & Cleanliness: Uphold stringent sanitation standards across all designated kitchen areas, consistently maintaining clean and organized food storage, preparation, and service environments throughout each shift.
Food Preparation & Quality: Meticulously prepare a variety of food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special banquets, adhering strictly to established culinary specifications and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
Inventory & Storage Management: Execute proper handling and storage of all food items, including systematic inventory rotation to guarantee freshness, minimize waste, and ensure that product pars are accurately met and maintained within storage areas.
Menu Innovation & Collaboration: Actively collaborate with kitchen management to conceptualize and develop exciting daily specials and other creative menu variations that enhance the guest dining experience.
Operational Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing effectively to the seamless operation of the culinary team and overall hotel food service functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum High School Diploma or GED is a fundamental requirement.
• Core Knowledge: Demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines, ensuring all culinary practices meet regulatory standards and promote guest well-being.
• Operational Capabilities: Exhibit the ability to work flexible hours and various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and efficiently multi-task within a busy kitchen environment.
• Interpersonal & Service Excellence: Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and guests, combined with a proven capacity for cohesive teamwork and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and food quality that exceeds guest expectations.
• Bonus: Previous experience in a cook role within a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred for candidates seeking this position.
