Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on Solution Design: Work in close partnership with the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) to meticulously design and formulate execution plans for the implementation and associated integrations of HashiCorp tools defined within the engagement scope.
  • Execute Technical Plans: Proficiently execute the technical customer solution plan as meticulously designed by the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) assigned to your customer account.
  • Implement HashiCorp Solutions: Take charge of the end-to-end design, implementation, and ongoing management of HashiCorp enterprise solutions, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Assist Third-Party Integrations: Provide expert assistance in the meticulous design and intricate configuration of third-party integrations with HashiCorp enterprise solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Create Support Documentation: Develop comprehensive support documentation, automation scripts, detailed runbooks, and other pertinent collateral specifically associated with HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Apply Patches and Upgrades: Aid in the careful application or precise execution of software patches and critical upgrades to HashiCorp enterprise solutions within non-production environments.
  • Consult on Integrations: Serve as a trusted consultant to various customer application, platform, and operations teams, guiding them on best practices for integrating their diverse tools, applications, and services with HashiCorp tools.
  • Drive Cloud Transformation: Execute specific, critical tasks throughout the customer’s cloud transformation journey, specifically as they pertain to the HashiCorp product suite.
  • Build Automation: Develop robust automation frameworks for the efficient deployment, streamlined management, and seamless operation of one or more HashiCorp solutions.
  • Impact Developer Velocity: Directly contribute to enhancing developer velocity while meticulously satisfying the imperative objectives of governance, risk, and controls.
  • Communicate Business Value: Be acutely aware of, and effectively communicate, the profound business value proposition of the HashiCorp product suite to customers.
  • Articulate Technical Functionality: Clearly and concisely articulate the intricate technical functionality of HashiCorp products and additional third-party integrations to practitioners, product owners, and managers.
  • Educate Individual Contributors: Provide valuable education to individual contributors on industry best practices pertaining to system administration, service administration, automation, and observability.
  • Subject to Background Checks: Be prepared to undergo additional background checks and rigorous screening processes as mandated and performed by the customer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Operating System Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in operating both Linux and Windows systems.
  • SDLC & CI/CD Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies, and version control solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Fundamental understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and practices.
  • Cloud Service Exposure: Exposure to and a general understanding of at least one public cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their most commonly utilized services.
  • Team Collaboration: The proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within group environments.
  • Independent Work Ethic: The ability to work independently, taking initiative and successfully executing tasks based on a provided roadmap.
  • Technical Communication: The capacity to clearly and concisely explain complex technical topics in easily understandable terms.
  • Security & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with common security protocols and compliance requirements.
