SAIC is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Analyst for a new US Air Force program based out of San Antonio, TX, specifically JBSA Randolph.

Please note the target salary for this position is $85,000 – $95,000.

Specific Duties

  • Provide critical system administration services to emerging technologies, flight simulators, and mixed reality systems.
  • Work on all aspects of information technology from initial identification of issues, opportunities for improvement, and prototyping of new solutions at the operational level through to the corporate processes.
  • Provide cross-team deployment and administrative support for services, simulators, and integration.
  • Research, experiment with, and integrate technologies that can better serve the customer and Instructor Pilot goals.
  • Author, collaborate on, and maintain project, systems, services, and process documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors for support with their products and utilize their resources to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Enterprise level networks and systems.
  • Must be able to obtain Security+ certification (Or IATII equivalent).
  • Comfortable researching, developing, and integrating emerging technologies that have little documentation.
  • Able to communicate high level technical capabilities and issues to non-technical customers.
  • Ability to work off-hours and travel around 10% as needed for support.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and RMF frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain CAC card and base access.

Desired Qualifications

  • Software engineering / programming experience.
  • DOD / AF experience.
  • VR / MR system experience.
  • A+ certification.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with flight simulator experience.
