The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Powerlab / thetradelab.ai, a U.S.-based company building AI tools for supply chain compliance and optimization. The role involves working directly with the solo founder on high-priority tasks, offering hands-on experience in building an early-stage startup. This position provides real exposure to various startup functions and a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, making it ideal for someone eager to learn quickly and contribute significantly.

• Mission: To support the founder across operations, content, customer preparation, and research, accelerating the company’s early-stage development.
• Tech Stack: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code (and other AI-native coding tools)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Draft materials: Create and refine slides, documents, and internal company materials.
• Support customer engagement: Assist with preparation for customer meetings and manage follow-up tasks.
• Create content: Help record and edit videos and other content for various purposes.
• Facilitate operations: Provide support for outreach efforts and other day-to-day operational tasks.
• Accelerate with AI tools: Utilize modern AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to enhance efficiency and speed in workflows.
• Provide coding support: Offer basic coding and automation assistance if you possess relevant experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Suitable for students or early-career candidates looking for startup experience.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required, but must already use modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in your workflow.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, highly organized and dependable, comfortable working across different types of tasks, and a fast learner with good judgment.
• Bonus: Some coding experience, especially with AI-native coding tools like Claude Code; experience with video editing; or experience with slide design and presentation building.
